Bespoke Managing Director

By Steve Brennan, Managing Director of Bespoke | Digital Agency.

Bespoke is a digital marketing agency based in Bamber Bridge, Preston and since launching in 2001, we’ve helped generate over £150 million for our clients.

We design, build and optimise websites that deliver results both in the UK and internationally, and our team of 13 in-house digital experts are now recognised as some of the region’s most well-respected web specialists.

Having just completed our most successful year, Bespoke achieved 25% growth in 2014, as well as helping many clients achieve the same spike in revenue.

Providing a range of specialist digital services has helped us to secure a raft of high-profile clients, with the most notable being Lancashire-based Sika UK, part of the Switzerland-headquartered Sika Group, as well as other well-known brands including Cuffe Taylor Begbies-Traynor Group and Lancashire Sport Partnership.

Our ongoing investment in Preston has always remained…

Bespoke moved from our original location at Riversway Business Village to a new headquarters in South Rings Office Village, showing a commitment to stay in the region. We now have a state-of-the-art training facility located just off the M6 and M65 motorway and because our offices are on the doorstep of three major motorway routes, it has enabled us to access a huge market in little time.

In our early days, we worked exclusively with local firms and taking huge pride in doing so, yet moving into the national and international market enables us to share this growing expertise with local businesses.

The region has a rich history in manufacturing and engineering, yet there’s so much more bubbling under the surface. Naturally, many digital and web companies locate themselves in the big cities and whilst there may be lots of work in those areas, Lancashire has remained an almost untapped market.

Over the last 14 years we’ve quickly positioned ourselves as a major player in the digital sector, much faster that what could have been achieved in a highly saturated market and this approach gained us ‘Creative Business of the Year’ Finalists at Lancashire's premier business awards, the BIBA’s.

As a business, we’ll always remain true to our Lancashire roots, by continuing to hire staff from the local area. Preston has boomed over the last decade, with South Ribble boasting some of the highest job creation figures in Lancashire - creating just as many jobs as Manchester and Liverpool combined over the past eight years.

2015 will be a significant year for the region with the City Deal giving Preston, South Ribble and Lancashire new powers to take charge of the decisions that impact their area. Local firms understand their region’s economy better than anyone and know exactly what actions need taking to boost growth.

It’s great news that the City Deal has been given the nod and I hope that by working together, these areas can unlock significant market prosperity.
