What Does Courtaulds Mean to You?

The Harris Museum asked people working at Red Scar Business Park to choose a painting from The Courtauld Gallery's world famous collection of French Impressionist paintings. They chose Eugene Boudin's sunny view of Deauville - a fashionable seaside resort in Normandy, favoured by Parisian holiday makers since the 19th century.

This painting is now on display at the Harris Museum & Art Gallery. The museum is working in partnership with The Courtauld Gallery in London and local communities to explore the history of Courtaulds textile factory in Preston.
