The Xplorer challenge is both fun and educational for young children and older. Collect your map for free and go exploring in Avenham Park or Haslam Park to complete this navigational activity.

Preston city centre
The city centre is buzzing this Summer. Not only is there a packed programme of Summer Saturdays on Preston Flag Market and in The Harris, there's also a variety of fun park events to look forward to.
The Wind in the Willows - Miller Park
Monday 27 August - Friday 31 August, 12pm-1.30pm and 2.30pm-4pm
Gather round the circular fountain in Miller Park and follow Toad, Ratty, Mole and Badger on their tale of life on the River Bank and in the Wild Wood. The outdoor performance is great entertainment for the whole family, you can even bring a blanket and picnic and make a day of it.

Moor Park Get Together - Moor Park
Sunday 2 September, 11am-2pm
Head to Moor Park for a free day of fun for all the family. There will be a range of activities and fun things to do as well as an ice cream van for a cheeky treat.

The fun continues in the surrounding areas of Preston's city centre. There are plenty opportunities to get up close with nature as well as quirky and entertaining activities.
Fun with Betsy Bumblebee - Samlesbury Hall
Monday 30 July - Thursday 30 August, 10.30am onwards
Betsy Bumblebee will be at Samlesbury Hall this Summer, bringing a new and hilarious story to tell. On top of this, there are also children's crafts, treasure hunts and original stories in a 14th century hall.

Forest School Family Fun - Brockholes
Thursday 23 August, 2pm-4pm
Experience Brockholes' Forest School as a family. There will be plenty outdoor activities, building confidence and abilities in the great outdoors.
