Lancashire Encounter 2016: 23 - 25 September
The inaugural Lancashire Encounter festival 2016, in conjunction with Preston Guild Hall, attracted 28,000 visitors throughout the three days and 15,000 visitors to the procession of Light.
The weekend was packed with quality performances, workshops, quirky installations and even a Procession of Light. Audiences saw some amazing performances; experienced the streets of Preston illuminated and discovered new things.
With over 28 individual artists and organisations and 1000 participants involved in the procession of light the weekend was a true Lancastrian celebration.
To help us grow and develop the festival we asked visitors, artists, contractors and partners for their views and compiled all the feedback in an evaluation report. You can find the full report in the documents section at the bottom of the page.
