Harry Potter: A History of Magic Displays
Experience the Magical Displays Inspired by Harry Potter
The displays include images of items featured in the British Library's exhibition, including rare books, manuscripts and magical objects, as well as copies of materials from J.K. Rowling and Bloomsbury's own collections.
Developed through the Living Knowledge Network, local connections to magic and folklore will also be showcased, including amazing physical items from local library collections.
So head to the Harris Museum & Art Gallery to celebrate and explore the historical, folkloric and mythological origins of the magic J.K. Rowling draws on in the creation of her wizarding world.
Visitors will find themselves in an atmospheric Hogwarts-style study, decorated with magical necessities, including leather-bound books from the Harris' historic collections.
There will also be special family events taking place throughout the exhibition.
This exhibition is open at the Harris Museum & Art Gallery from 20 October - 30 December.
