A new exhibition looking at the use of photography by the British Army...
Blood, Sweat and Celluloid is an exhibition celebrating Army photography from 1850 until the present day.
Looking at different themes, ‘Blood, Sweat and Celluloid’ also contains footage of D-Day preparations, helmet-cam from Afghanistan (2010) and rare personal photographs of the early part of WW1 taken by Major Lambert of the East Lancashire Regiment in 1914.
See examples of the early work and latest techniques.
The exhibition is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Parking is free and photo ID is needed for entry to the barracks - photo driving licence is ideal.
